Monticello is the County Seat of Jefferson County, which is
located immediately East of Florida's Capital City and stretches
from Georgia to the Gulf of Mexico.
The County Courthouse is situated at the intersection of US
Highway 90 and US 19. The Georgia-Florida Parkway (US19)
passes through Monticello and intersects with Interstate 10 a
short distance to the South.
The "MainStreetMonticello" website is being developed to
stimulate healthy economic development of Monticello
by promoting local businesses and
community activities.
